These PFRCC-commissioned studies are the best source of information on the state of salmon stocks along the Pacific coast of Canada. Stock status information as well as on-the-ground data collection is presented for each species in specific streams as well as broader geographic areas. These analyses provide the basis for conservation, management, and restoration strategies.
Habitat Reports
Reports from PFRCC on the state of habitat, human impacts to those habitats and solutions that can be applied to conserve Pacific salmon stocks.

Reports that document fisheries practices and trends and their relation to conservation.

These reports bring together the state of knowledge regarding the interactions between farmed and wild salmon.
Annual Reports
These reports are a summary of the Council’s activities for the calendar year and in addition they provide recommendations and advice to fisheries Ministers and the public regarding salmon conservation issues.
Advisories
PFRCC puts out advisories on issues of key concern or study by the Council. Advisories have been issued related to dwindling government resources for stock assessment, the resolution of aquaculture issues, implementation recommendations for DFO’s Wild Salmon Policy and other topics.
